I got the idea for this cake from another cake person on another website, her name is CakesbyAshley. It was originally done in red, white and green, I changed it to pinks. Not anywhere as good as hers, but I think it's decent. All accents are fondant and the "1" is gumpaste.
Beatiful, you did an awesome job!
fantastic! :)
I love your cake. It is just so girly!
beautiful cake... it is super cute!
critique group member: wow! I think this cake is SUPER cute! The only critiques I would say is that I would've made the #1 the light pink like the bottom cake just to tye it in...seems a little lost with the grass...and then I probably would have done a printed script name on paper and then did those hole pokes through it, laid it on the cake and then did my little dots for the name. Does that make sense? Then it would be straight and more uniformed. Other wise this is a very nice well put together cake!
critique subgroup member:I have nothing to offer really- it's a fabulous cake, from the cake board to the topper!! Awesome work
Critique group member: Oh my gosh how cute is this!?! :D The advise I can offer is too have photogarphed it in a lighter back ground so you can see the 1 better.
LOVE the dotted name idea!
Critique subgroup member: This is soo cute! I have nothing to critique!
Critique subgroup member: What an adorable cake! What a unique and fun idea for writing the name. I think perhaps the one gets lost in the green grass, but if that is the only picky thing from me what the hey. 8O It's a fun, creative and very sweet first b-day and I bet it was a hit!
Critique Subgroup Member: Super cute cake! I love it. The one on top looks so great. You did an excellent job on this!
critique subgroup member: what and adorable cake!! colors are awesome! though I have to agree the 1 could have been a different color. Very unique lettering!
