This was the cake I made for my son's 2nd Birthday. He loves backyardigans so going along with the theme, I wanted to make a really Backyardigans-ish cake, but had problems finding cake toppers. I also had a problem finding toys that I could use for cake toppers, but finally I found these Bobbling Circus figures--they worked out great and now he can play with them. The cake was 1/2 chocolate, 1/2 white, layered, and frosted with green, blue, pink, yellow, and orange butter cream.
