The birthday girl wanted a guitar shaped cake. I carved the cake out of two 9 x 13" cakes. I drew a pattern and I think it came out pretty well. It is a purple cake even though the picture came out pretty dark. This is a almond cake covered with butter cream. The detail work was piped on. Had a lot of fun making this one.
