Jack In The Box

Jack In The Box on Cake Central

This was my 1st attempt at decorating a cake for my daughters 1st birthday. My mom stood by and gave instructions. The Jack in the box was made from a cake that was cut into a small square. Then I frosted a graham cracker and used that for the open lid on the box. The cake was frosted and decorated with Frostin' Pride. I the dowels have lifesavers around them. Cake decorated with a variety of soft candies. Thanks for Looking!

Thanks Snow. I just read my description and realized a part is missing. The Jack in the Box was made from a cake that was cut into a square. The box top is a graham cracker that I frosted and stuck to the back of the box. If memory serves me correctly, I did a puff of icing for the body and stuck one of those plastic clown heads in it. I then piped in some arms. The cake is adorned with lifesavers, red licorice and other candies. The dowels also have lifesavers around them. Thx 4 looking!
