Butterfly Cupcakes
I made this for my daughters 1st birthday. White choc mud cake covered with fondant. Butterflies are made with fondant and decotated with silver cachous and purple glitter. This was my 1st attempt at cupcakes. I did have a plaque to sit around the wires on top cake but it broke that morning, so I just placed some extra butterflies I had around instead.
Nice job, this is perfect you can give the cupcakes to the kids. How you made the butterflies.
Thanks eesmith, I used a cutter for the butterflies - and then joined the wings together with royal icing. I had to prop the wings up until the icing went firm.
This cake looks too good to eat, it is so pretty, its going into my favourites
