I made this cake for my brother-in-law's birthday. It was a Hawaiian themed party, so I thought I would do the same thing with the cake. I decorated it with fondant figurines, and made a little thatch-roofed hut to go on the top. The "sand" is crushed graham crackers. I believe this was a "funfetti" cake with vanilla buttercream icing.
