Snowman Face

Snowman Face on Cake Central

critique group member: I saw this idea from someone on CC, but cannot remember who. The nose, scarf, and ear muffs are fondant, the rest is buttercream.

Critique subgroup member: Love the design - good job. Put a little powdered sugar on your finger next time and push down the peaks on the circles. Such smooth icing!!!!!!!!!

critique subgroup member: adorable, the only think I could suggest, is to maybe bring the earmuffs up a little to they are seen a bit more with the top of the cake and not so close to the bottom, maybe it would then have drawn a bit of the color to the top?? (not sure if that is making sense??)

critique subgroup member: she is too cute! besides a little shakiness on the smile, she is wonderfully festive! I never would have thought to add ear muffs! great detail

critique group member: How cute is that! Your BC is so smooth and all of the details are so cute. The smile is a little wobbly. Maybe you could do asymmetrical circles to look like coal to prevent having top make a perfect line? I LOVE the eyelashes and eyebrows...perfect little touches.

Critique subgroup member: How cute is this!!!!! I, however, would have made the earmuffs more 3D. Just puffier by the addition of some BC stars or maybe with the grass tip or just a plain ol' swirl of it with a round tip. Oh yeah, I love the nose! :D

Critique Group Member: This is soooo cute. The critiques the others offered are good ideas. Believe it or not (since I am such a stickler on pointy dots) I personally would leave the tips on the dots on the mouth. They make it look like dimples. But the eyelashes needed to be pushed down. That's all I have to offer

Critique group member: He is adorable! Love his nose, earmuffs and eyelashes. I think a bigger, flowing scarf would have set this off even nicer. Excellent icing job.
