This was for my daughter's 4th birthday. The bottom tier is sour cream pound cake with bc icing and the top is double chocolate cake with chocolate caramel bc. This was my first royal icing tiara. I couldn't believe how easy and fun it was to make. TFL!
In an attempt not to freak about "how easy and fun it was" to make your tiara, could you PLLLLLEASE share with me the recipe you used for your RI? I tried white choc and two different blends of RI this weekend and failed terribly...my first big bummer! Thanks for any advice!!
kmfrench, I used the wilton recipe for ri. I think it was a box of ps 3 tbls meringue powder and 6 tbls water. I added a little extra water because it was too hard to even squeeze through the tip. Hope that helps!
You really did a terrific job!
Good job on the tiara, how did you get the bC to look like stone work?

Sorry  I forgot to add that the cake is covered in fondant. I used an impression mat.
