Apple Basket
Inspired by the baskets in the gallery here. Stacked three 8" WASC with creme brulee creamer (subbed 1c water but didn't give very strong flavor and cakes fell some in middle) and filled with caramel filling from recipes here (very yummy!) frosted with buttercream. Basket made from Rhondas chocolate mmf with grooves made by a corn holder pick thing and colored in with Wilton brown gel. Apples are mmf covered cupcakes filled with canned dark chocolate frosting (I was getting tired!).
The bucket it simply awesome!
This cake is beautiful! The basket looks so real! Great job. ;-D
Thanks so much for your comments. The mmf is shiny mainly because of my flash; it had been refrigerated so there was some moisture on them the flash picked up on.

Great work! Is your MMF naturally shiny, or did you coat it with something? I totally want to pick up one of those apples and take a bite!
