Honoring Fallen Soldiers Of The 101St Airborne
My first place winning state fair entry in the novelty cake division. The theme was "honoring the 101st Airborne" and I decided to honor those who came back only as heroes. I am very proud of this cake-it was made on dummies that I shaped, cut, filed, and covered with fondant. The board, medals, edible image, helmet, and flag with case are all fondant.

This is my all time favorite cake of yours. You put such heartfelt love and care into this project and it deserved 1st place. I would have loved to give my grandpa this cake and I know he would have been so thrilled and amazed with it. He was also awarded a purple heart and bronze star for his action in WWII. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! :D
