Poker Table
My sister had ordered this cake for a friend that she plays Texas Hold Em with. When I was looking for ideas, I came across 2yummys cake. Thanks 2yummy! I had forgotten that this cake was in the 2006 Wilton Book. I have been buying these books since 1999. I buy them, skim through them, and then put them up! I need to remember to scan them every so often!
This turned out great . . . I'll have to remember it for my hubby's poker nights. Great job!
Thanks ckkerber! It really was fairly easy to do . . . cards and chips were made about a week ahead of time so they could dry. The card faces were drawn on a couple of days before decorating the cake. So when it came time to decorate, all I had to do was ice the cake and arrange all the pieces! I definitely want to do this one again! Thanks for looking!
The details are so nice and done so well. Are the cards and chips fondant? [email protected]
Thanks MarciaStewart . . . the cards and chips are pettinice.
