Thanksgiving Cake
Not my best work. It was rushed. My first genoise was a flop, so this was my second attempt (had never made one before). Also, I pulled an all-nighter doing this and my baseball cap and glove and ball. (once my hubby's alarm went off at 6am, I knew I wasn't sleeping that night/day)! Anyway, it's a cocoa genoise, brushed with Kahlua and frosted with a mocha buttercream. It actually tasted very good.
