Thanks everyone for the very nice comments... this cake was one of three that I did for the same person. The chocolate curls on top were actually made from chocolate fondant. And the icing is regular buttercream icing . I use hot water and a spray bottle to get the icing smooth and crisp. Again thanks for the nice compliments you keep me encouraged.!

Oh yeah and btw.. the scroll work was done is chocolate fudge icing and the dots were made with regular ole buttercream.

I like the scrolls and the dark brown and pink make it so dramatic on a white background.
