wow, this is such a cool cake!!! What's that ball made of??? How did you do the flag? is it white fondant with red stripes on it?
Thank you! The ball is stryofoam covered in fondant. The flag is a rectangle of white fondant with the stripes and stars added to it. The eagle is handmolded from fondant. The cakes are iced in buttercream.
SUPER looking cake! I'm going to put it into my favorites so I can make it for my daughter's birthday on the 4th of July!

I am going to TRY and attempt to get close for a company that won something and it's for the vetrains and i think this would be a great tribute to them.... thanks for the idea and sure hope i can get at least close to how great that looks.... if you have any advice on how to get this look please let me know...
