The grapes have a lot of icing on them. I cover complete. Add a few grapes, let dry a little and add a few more and so on, until I am happy with the bunch.

I use the Wilton royal recipe, but, I add just a little more water, so, it flows easier. I, also, add almond extract. Folks go crazy for the flavor.

Those are so awesome!! Does the royal get rock hard? How many days in advance can you frost them?

My royal does not get hard. I use the Wilton recipe and I add about 1/2 to 3/4 Tbsp more water. You can ice these 2-3 days ahead, but, the colors tend to bleed sometimes. I try not to let the dark stems touch on these to avoid that.
