This was a cake I made for an 80's themed birthday party. The Pac-Man face and the ghosts are made of fondant, the rest is buttercream. Black frosting can have a less-than-pretty effect, however, because it stains people's mouths. It also "bleeds" into the slices as you cut them, making black streaks on each slice of cake.
