You can't see it in the picture, but I added a little spider hanging from the spout with fishing wire. I didn't want the cake to look too much like Halloween or Spiderman, so I opted not to use a web design.
For some reason we never got a picture with the little spider. I made my own spider by taking a black pom-pom and "sewing" (by run the needle in and through the middle) the legs on. They were thick cording, and I snipped both sides. I wanted the spider to look whimsical, not scarey! : )
