1St Baby Shower Cake
This was my first time using MMF (I was so nervous to work with it). And also my first time trying to sculpt something. I HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO! But I'm proud of it for my first time. Thanks for looking! Oh...what can I do to make the MMF smoother? It got hard really fast. I don't know what I did wrong!
Cute! And very nicely done~ Possibly your MMF was too dry? Did you grease your hands with Crisco while kneading it????? Did you roll it on a Crisco'd surface or powdered sugar?? I use crisco....It should not have gotten hard. I am also pretty liberal with my BC layer underneath. Helps in the smoothing area. Kind of like laying a carpet pad down before the carpeting goes on! LOL
