Whipped Bettercream Wedding Cake
I needed another wedding cake for in my portfolio so here is a practice cake. The top 2 layers are franch vanilla cake torted with french vanilla mousse. The bottom layer is orange cake torted with orange cream. Covered with whipped bettercream, which made my top layer sink! I used dowels, oh well. I'll be taking the bettercream off my wedding cake icing choices.Pretty happy with it.
That might have been the problem, they weren't out far enough.Because it seems like it was just the one side.

The icing is more like whipped cream than buttercream. It doesn't harden up like the buttercream does. I just used a hot knife to smooth out the sides.

Very Pretty. I do have a question about the Bettercreme, I used to use it often and now use Pastry Pride pretty much all of the time, but did you have the dowels placed far enough out towards the edge?
