Boston Cream Cupcakes

I decided to do something new and make these. The sponge is vanilla and has a vanilla custard filling (first time I had made custard from scratch) with chocolate buttercream frosting and grated plain chocolate to decorate. In general I'm pleased with the results but next time will need to add a dash more milk to the buttercream to enable it to be piped. Just another excuse to bake!
