Rocket cake with a central PVC pipe support. The rocket is buttercream covered and the fins are a fondant/gumpaste blend cut and dried in advance. The bottom 12" moon base cake was covered in fondant. We learned some things about stacking and structure with this ambitious 25" tall task!!
