...Boy or Girl? No one knows!

This was my first gender reveal cake. So much fun! I ended up with a very smurfy blue inside. I now know that the batter will darken as it bakes. I started with my regular french vanilla cake and added royal blue Americolor gel. I guess I didn't need to add as much as I did, but there was no mistaking that this baby is a BOY!

Iced in buttercream with fondant accents with a fondant/gumpaste bow.
