I've always wanted to try one of these! For my daughter's 2nd birthday. Yellow cake w/vanilla buttercream. Lots of fun to do and not too hard.

jillchap-try it, it's not as hard as it looks! I partially froze the cake after cutting the slice out and before frosting so I wouldn't have a lot of crumbs. Use a sturdy cake recipe like a pound cake? I also cut a cardboard round to fit the slice and put a skewer through the slice on top when I placed it on the cake.
