This cake is one I offered to make for my sons pre school for their end of year celebrations. I got inspiration from different people on cc, the rainbow is a 7 inch cake cut in half and then the pieces stood together and covered in fondant. I really enjoyed making this cake, I managed to bake, buttercream, and cover the bottom all in one day, so I got the top and the decorations done on the second day. Probably my quickest 'proper' cake yet! I really love how it turned out. Oh The bear is there as its the logo on the pre school uniforms. It's made from gumpaste as are the bees, ladybirds, caterpillar and snails!
