Graduation Suitcases
Made for my twin nephews graduating high school and moving to UF to become gators! Used wilton car pan and then sheet cakes decorated like suitcases with appropriate travel stickers. Connected the suitcases to the bumper with a silver fondant chain.
Too funny, what a unique grad cake, just love it! So much work, your grad students are wonderful too! All of it, so creative!

How on earth did you make the suitcase fondant icing so real looking?
dusek: I just sort of beat it up a little. instead of smoothing it like I usually do I left all the little buttercream bumps from underneath. intentionally pinched a little wrinkle here and there to just give it a more worn look.
