I used Alice's icing and the No Fail Sugar recipes. I inserted scewers (much cheaper) right out of the oven. I started baking on Monday and was done by Wednesday. You have to let them dry for atleast 24 hours before bagging them since the icing is a little softer due to the butter in the recipe. The recipe tastes great, but isn't as hard as royal. I hope this helps. Good luck!
Okay, you are killing me here. LOL I loved the cake, and these are also to die for. My daughter's birthday is coming up, and she wants me to make your cake and now your cookies. Do you mind? I have to tell you I love everything in your gallery. When is your daughter's next birthday? LOL!
Ofcourse I don't mind. Let me know if you have any questions! I hope your daughter has a happy b-day. I have to wait a whole year before planning my daughter's next big bash!
I LOVE THESE! I also ADORE the cake as well! Would you tell me what recipe you used for the cookies and the icing? And did you bake them with the sticks in them or insert them right out of the oven? I want to make a few cookie centerpieces for my Daughter's 5th BDay. How far in advance did you bake, decorate and bag the cookies? I am sorry for all of the ?'s, but this is EXACTLY what I want to do for her =0)

So cute!
Great job on the cookies. Did you paint that pot? Looks really cool!
Yes, I painted the pot to match. Thanks for the comments.
