I made this cake for my daughter's fifth birthday. She loves the new Disney cartoon "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" and wanted a cake inspired by the show. This cake was made with a chocolate ganache coating. The cast of characters are made from gumpaste. The wheel, rope ladders and anchor were made by piping melted chocolate.
