This was for a Sweet 16. Turtle is 2 heart shaped layer cakes carved to the shell shape. Covered in ivory tinted buttercream with marshmallow fondant colored dark brown/black and then cut to look like the shell and "scales" on the turtle. A little bronze pearl dust on the eyes to give them some definition. This cake was so much fun and my first 3-D cake!
