I made this cake for my son's 9th birthday this past February. It was my first cake from scratch, my first try with fondant, and my first time doing anything other than a basic stacked cake or sheet cake. I was terrified, but I think it came out beautifully!

The cake was coconut cream poundcake, filled and frosted with coconut buttercream (all my son's request lol). Covered and decorated with mm fondant. His arms/legs were made of rice krispie treats and covered in fondant as well.
