Largest book was about 9x13, but was very tall. Chemistry book was about 7x11ish, and top book was about 5x7ish. Sour lemon cake (Jenny's Pucker-Up Lemon Cake recipe) with fresh cut strawberries for filling and fresh lemon buttercream. MMF on all three books and cake board base. Used vodka/brown gel color technique to paint wood grain effect on fondant covering cake base board. Diploma and daisies are gumpaste, as well as the mortor board on hat.
