The idea for this cake came from a placemat. The entire cake was cut from one 14x3in. round pan and is iced with 4 different intensities of chocolate butter cream. Since the cake was for twin's first birthday, there were two 6in round, two layer cakes with white icing and tan monkey heads to accompany this one.
