This was my first pair of baby booties and my first bow. I have done the loopy bows before but not this kind....I thought it was harder at least for me. Of course after I put it on I noticed it was off center and there was no moving it without doing damage.....GROWL!!! The cake was a simple double stacked 8" white cake with traditional buttercream for filling and covering. The stripes are fondant, the bow is fondant and the booties are fondant/gumpaste. They wanted it shimmery so I sprayed with pearl luster. I used a clay gun for the white...OUCH!! I need a better one - not syringe type...it did work a little easier if I warmed up the fondant some and I like the results you can get from these. TFL...comments appreciated!
