Sammy's 50Th
This cake was huge. I had to get DH to carry it for me. The bottom base is a 14"and a 10" side by side. The chair has an 8"single layer for the seat and rkt for the back. The station is a 10x3, cut in half and stacked. For the mirror, I just covered a cake board in fondant. All covered in fondant with fondant decorations and embellished with rhinestones. The only requests on the cake was that the party was black and white. I was told also that he was a flamboyant, over the top hairdresser.

How did you support this chair, It's a GREAT cake.
Fantastic! That's just good work, gorgeous, fun, and fashionable!
Thanks so much guys. For the chair, I flipped a center tier separator plate, which I had to cut the screw and bolt a down a bit on so it would sit flat. Then I used a plastic hollow dowel and stuck into the hole and left sticking out aboout an inch. I right angled some heavy florist wires and stuck in around it. Then i used two thick 8" cake boards and cut a hole in the center for the dowel to go through and hot glued the wires to the bottom of it. It was amazingly stable.
