Day Of The Day Wedding Cake
My friend asked me to make this very different wedding cake. She wanted to use the Mexican holiday "Day of the dead" as a theme. The holiday honours those who have passed on- her father died before the wedding and it was her way of remembering him. All the little figures are skeltons, but they are dressed as if they were living. It was a challenging cake to do, but rewarding too.
It looks like you did a good job. I have not heard of doing something like this before. Is the wedding in October or just the holiday?
