Festus Gunsmoke Cake
Omage(sp?) To Ken Curtis aka "Festus" from Gunsmoke. Chocolate cake with Buttercream iceing. I printed out Festus on thick scrapbooking paper and used buttercream to paste it to rolled out gumpaste. Watched it for awhile, no soak through. Looks pretty good. Of course, it's not edible! Has to be removed before slicing.
Pretty cool. I like your borders, too. Unique way of doing an old black/white photo. Good job!
My hubby loves Festus and would love this cake! You did a really great job.
