Any thoughts on the gold stripes here?

Are they ribbon?  Painted/stenciled on?

I have to make these in a rose gold color so wondering which way I want tackle it.  Rose Gold ribbon will be hard to find.

THank you for your insights and suggestions!!

My thoufht is it's real ribbon.  You could try making fondant stripes but I personally would take the easy way out and use ribbon.

Hello there.

I am wondering the same, i have to make a cake like this and came here to find out if it´s real ribbon or what. I´ve seen cakes like this in Ron Ben Israel ig and it looks like if were made in fondant but in the your photo looks like the were painted.

Hope someone can help us soon. I´ll keep searching.

Good luck!
