Any tips?

Also I won't use a lot of ingredients in the master list, should I delete them? I want to, but unsure if I should.

You can delete whatever you want.  I deleted a ton of stuff in mine and I put in all my own pricing.  Since then, I decide to not use the pricing.  I really just use it for the invoicing, scheduling and all the reports and tracking.

I got the paypal invoicing too and I highly recommend it if you take a high volume of credit cards.  Soooo easy and the clients pay really quick.

Congrats!  Hope you enjoy it!!

Before you delete them, make sure you aren't going to be adding any ingredients with similar weights. When you add new ingredients, they won't have weight to volume conversions, but you can copy a preloaded ingredient with a similar weight to use those conversions. The video tutorial on Master Ingredients shows how. :)

@Jinkies ‍ I was hoping I wasn't t the only who didn't use it for the pricing. I mainly use it for the invoicing, calendar and sales tax reports. I like it and I'm happy I bought it but I don't use all the features. One thing I wish I could change about it is the fact that it shows the price per serving on the invoice i wish that was optional. I do love that I can include all of our terms and conditions with each emailed invoice that's really nice.

@Webake2gether ‍ I just put 1 serving @ $150. (whatever the total price is).

You can just as easily add back in anything that you wish.  They're just in there as a convenience to start off.  It's really not a big deal.  You won't ruin anything by adding or deleting.

Im looking at buying the Cake Boss Software, can you print each order to have a paper copy and computer copy? I recently swapped from home baker to owning my own store front. I have 10-20 custom orders a week so im wanting to make sure it can handle that!

Yes, you can print a worksheet that has everything the invoice has on it.
