My one & only supply shop only carries CMC.  I've always used Tylose and know how it works....a bit shy to use the CMC.  Is it really the same?  Shop owner insists it is 'just remaned'.  It's CK's brand.

Thanks.  I actually just found that line but thought her explanation was a bit confusing :(  Since it's all I can get w/o ordering online I guess I'll try using it.  Don't have time for shipping in.

I have the answer for you...CK must have discontinued their Tylose powder and switched to CMC because I went to reorder Tylose from the wholesaler and it isn't there anymore, but CMC has taken its place. I ordered the CMC and have been using it instead of the Tylose and it works just fine. I still have Tylose listed in my Etsy shop until I run out of it but I'm going to use the CMC myself because I'm too lazy to take a new listing photo and switch it all out until I have to :)
