Hi there!

I need a good peanut butter filling for my homemade peanut butter cups. I love Reese's Big Cups and want a filling with the same texture. I don't want to use the Reese "no bake" product and I already know the basic peanut butter, powered sugar and butter recipe and it's good but not perfect. I even try a recipe with gram cracker crumbs and that's close, but I lost my original recipe and can't seem to get the exact proportions right. Any suggestions or new recipes? I'd love to hear your ideas!

Thanks!

Full recipe at

Filling

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup light brown sugar

1 1/4 cup powdered sugar

On medium heat, heat butter, peanut butter and brown sugar together until melted and allow to bubble a little - stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar  1/4 cup at a time, stirring well after each addition. Let cool.

Thank you so much! I'm going to make a batch this coming weekend. My fingers are crossed and I'm hoping for a home run with these! Thanks again!
