This is my first time trying to cornelli lace. I guess I need more practice and a steadier hand because some of the place didn't come out smooth.

Very nice, your wrist must be tired! i haven't been brave enough to try cornelli.

looks great.........I have been wanting to learn how to do those fondant bows, and I have tried cornelli lace twice, but mine doesnt look like the real thing

I think you did a wonderful job... I too have never tried it.. looks scary, but I know eventually someone is going to ask for it. I also like your flowers and bow... great job, keep up the good work!

Thanks for the boost of confidence. I thought it would be easier than it was. The side wasn't bad but going from the side to the top was something I was having trouble with

JasonL: NICE JOB!! I LOVE cornelli lace...it gives dimension to your cakes.

Looks good for a first attempt!
I always use a 1 or 2 size tip and try and make my lace as small and close together as possible, it takes forever but looks really great.
