I want to make this for my sons birthday. id like to make it pretty small if possible because its only for 12 people don't want to have too much leftover. idk what pans to use and how to carve this help please thanks! :)

I'd go with 8inch cakes - you'll have a bit too much cake, but you'll be able to carve the road wide enough to fit the cars.
