AOk so I always freeze my cakes. Last night I thought I would try torting them into 1 inch slices before freezing. I then wrapped each layer twice in plastic wrap, once in foil and then placed them into a Ziploc bag.

Now im worried that the cakes could possibly be soggy when I take them out. Please tell me people do this all the time! The cake isn't due until Saturday but I may start crumb coating on thursday night just to make sure its not soggy.

I do the torting and freezing all the time.  I don't wrap as much as you did.  And I did it for $1K wedding cakes.  Calm down.

A classic case of Cake Decorators Over-Think-itis.  We all do it.
