AI'm making a unicorn cake for my niece, and the family does not like fondant. The cake will have a small unicorn face on the top that I'll have to make out of fondant since that's the only way I'll be able to draw the face and make it pretty, but the rest of the cake will be rainbow hair made from icing. I need a good recipe for an icing to decorate an entire cake that isn't greasy and won't melt or fall off the cake. Thank you!

This is a great tasting, easy to use icing that is not greasy to most palets :)   Read through the whole thing as it can be made as a crusting b'cream with the info at the end.
