Can anyone help me figure out what kind of flowers are on this wedding cake? And are they live flowers?...

I'm pretty sure these ones are moth orchids done with a cutter set

The other blue ones you could actually make with the same large petal cutter from the orchid set

they look live to me, and i'd guess cymbidium orchid.

Also, what are the white flowers?

I googled "blue cymbidium orchid" & I found these, they do look like them...

And how do I add the live flowers to the cake? Do I need flower spikes? I'm worried they will get too hot/wilt or die (the wedding will be in July). Do I add them right before they pick it up? I'm doing a small 2 or 3 tiered cake.

The white ones could be stock.

Not sure what the others are, but the really vibrant ones are blue dendrobium, they look real.

I agree with shanter, the white could be stock.
