Obviously I'd leave out the additional vanilla and almond flavourings because the french vanilla flavour is so strong. If you don't think it would work as a direct substitute is there another recipe that would?
I'm planning on using it as a 6 layered 8" cake covered in buttercream & fondant - is this a good recipe to use?
I've used French vanilla and it was fine.
My daughter's favorite flavor is WASC made with French Vanilla cake mix and I use only Almond flavoring when I make it. It is delicious!
Yes, of course You can use *any* flavor cake mix in the *original* WASC recipe.
I don't change the flavoring but one can centainly use what ever flavoring wanted to create different tastes.
