I have never used my new Parrish Magic Line cake pans before and was wondering if I need to use the heating core and even-baking strips with the 16" round and 12" round cake pans? No instructions or suggestions came with the pans.

It's not necessary but I do anyway -- I'm just in the habit of it. I don't use the heating core, but the heating nails instead. Good luck! You'll love the new pans!!

I hate, Hate, HATE heating cores.
I have used ML pans for yrs. The bake well. Most of the time I didn't even use bake=even strips. Maybe I was very lucky to have good ovens but never had a problem w/them not baking completely.
