I am going to be making a cake with three figures on it - Mario, Pac Man and Dora (as a gift). I was looking for ideas, and found this Mario cake:

I really like the style she used to do Mario and Luigi as flat fondant figures. Does anyone know how you would do this? I haven't ever done anything like that before.

Thanks!

What I would do in a case like this is search for coloring book characters on line (of Mario, etc.) then size them in your printer to the correct size needed. Place waxed paper over each section of the design - trace it out - cut it out then use it as a pattern to cut out the pieces of colored fondant needed.
