Does anyone know if on the cake boss program I can do the following please:

1. do I have to manually enter all the measurements for the same cake recipe for a 6, 7,8,9,10 etc size cakes?

2. If I want to enter the amount a board or fondant amount costs do I have to do that individually for each size or is there some other way of doing it.

You do not enter the measurements by cake size. You enter the measurements by recipe. So for WASC for example I do a single box wasc mix as my recipe.

When you set up an order, you specify how much of each recipe you are going to use.
So for an 8 inch cake it would be one full recipe.

If I was doing multiple tiers I could specify something like 2.5 batches.

As for the boards and fondant I do them differently.
For the boards, I use the master materials list. Which allows you to specify things like boards, support sytems and boxes.

For fondant - I actually list it under recipes so I can treat it like I do the cake batter. I include a price for one lb of fondant. Then I can specify how many lbs I expect to use for each order.

It works really well. The software is extremely helpful.
