Hello Everyone,
I am making my 1st two tiered wedding cake and I need some help with it please. I am not sure how to support it so that the weight doesn't ruin my cake. Does anyone have some ideas for me? I can use all the help I can get.

thanks

Buy the sps system ( instructions on a sticky on the front forum page). Quite cheap, reusable, fool-proof!

Using SPS is good. Wilton has a similar set up (buy plates and 'hidden pillars' - which are hollow tubes the plate feet sit in). You can usually find Wilton items at Hobby Lobby or Michael's whereas SPS must be mail ordered (unless you have a good cake supply shop near you).

When you read this, substitute the words 'plastic drink straw' for wooden or plastic dowel rods. Much easier to cut and use then dowels and are every bit as strong icon_smile.gif
