As much as toy around with the idea of one day selling cakes (after my kids are in school), the horror stories on here are enough to scare me away without trying sometimes. But this lady here, I admire her. This takes courage, and the willingness to stand up for what's right. Yes, she's a photographer, not a caker, but there are so many business owners on this site, I thought it worth a read for you all.

That was wonderful!! More people should take her stance! At my company, our human resources director gave a presentation on how Facebook is now being used by potential employers and the perils of what you post. I even heard that some college admission departments look at Facebook.

I'm a fan now, too and I posted a link to it on my own FB page.

You might want to also post this in the business forum as well icon_smile.gif

I wrote to CBS, NBC, and ABC saying that she needs to be interviewed on national television so as many people as possible get this message. Someone else can make suggestions to other networks...........

As it is, when I read it this morning that page only had 8,000 or so views. It's now up to almost 38,000. I am certain she will gain more business than she possibly lost.

I would also suggest MSNBC. They did a story last month about bullying and it would be great to have someone like Raechel Maddow interview her.

Raechel Maddow is currently, very publicly, being sued for using out of context the words of a man she didn't agree with in an attempt to smear another person's reputation...she may not be the best choice. icon_wink.gif

I'm all for getting this story in the public eye though.
